Leafing through this book set me to wondering what the workday of a typesetter using this tiny 6 pt. type was like. He must have gone home exhausted. Or maybe he got involved in the story as he set his composing stick. And then how much squinting did the reader have to do? How could you read it by candlelight or kerosene lamplight? Whew!
