Quarto. 11-1/4 x 8-1/4. Glazed boards. Pictorial endpapers. Unpaginated. A lovely, clean, unmarked copy. A touch of rubbing at crown and foot of spine. Tight binding. Fine copy. / Dust jacket has some minor tears and creases at bottom edge and a few very tiny tears at top edge. Overall a good + + dust jacket. Item #387

New York: Random House, (1950). Dr. Seuss. Early edition. I think it's the second printing. There are 8 lines on the copyright page rather than 7. There are 7 titles listed on the back cover, Bartholomew and the Oobleck, printed in 1949 being the latest. 4to 12-1/4" x 9-1/4". Glossy pictorial boards. Black and blue pictorial endpapers. A lovely early copy of this recently discontinued book. Clean, crisp, unmarked pages. Two pages have invisible phantom line impressions, if you look closely, that show that someone tried to trace a picture. But there are no marks. A little faint wear at top and bottom of spine and bottom edge. / No dust jacket. Item #380
