A 14 pp. pamphlet measuring 8-3/4" x 6." Published by Kerr-Geyer-Tyroler. Previously mounted in a scrapbook, this item was removed by cutting out the album page. The back cover is still fixed to the album page in several spots. Although you can pull it apart and see most of the back, I think it might take an expert paper specialist to completely remove it. Item #315
Program contains a 'guide to Dayton,' with many advertisements and information about the city in general, as well as images of the various members of the Wright family, their planes, and their factory. The last few pages contain a schedule of events for the homecoming celebration and a brief article about the history of the brothers. In June 1909, the brothers returned to their hometown of Dayton, where they were greeted with parades, receptions, and fireworks, and received medals from Congress, the state of Ohio, and the city.
